The inspiration for this flower crown scene is a painting by William Adolph-Bouguereau titled "child braiding a crown” in 1872. The boarder is a collection of girlhood iconography. sewing supplies, bows, bunnies and birds, and daisies. The embellishments are a nod to fable illustrations, fairytales.
